Nikon D5300 CONS:

HONEST REVIEW:
The Nikon D5300 the replacement for its popular Nikon D5300, The Nikon D5300 delivers a slightly redesigned and noticeably smaller and lighter body the incorporation of a sensor without an optical low-pass filter bigger and better viewfinder and LCD and an expanded feature set which now includes Wi-Fi and geo-tagging built right into the camera combined with the new 18 to 140 millimeter lens kit you get a more expensive but still a great option for the family photographer or enthusiast the design and interface are fundamentally the same as the Nikon D5200 well,
It’s smaller and lighter it still feels comfortable to use and reasonably well built the grips redesigned to increase the clearance between your hand in the lens it really does feel more comfortable the drive mode button had to be relocated to the side in order to make room for the Wi-Fi and GPS antennas and I actually prefer it there the LCD and viewfinder are both bigger and a bit nicer it also has a stereo microphone
Now my only real complaint is about the multi controller it feels a little too flat and hard to maneuver precisely the camera incorporates a new version of Nikon’s X speed image processor which allows for the addition of 1080 60 P video and better battery life although the camera does have a new battery the GPS intermittently failed to tag images though even when I hadn’t moved connecting to mobile devices via Wi-Fi works relatively seamlessly though the camera doesn’t have NFC to smooth connecting,
Nikon’s app has limited tethered shooting capabilities you can’t change any settings but you can touch focus I don’t like that the app stays loaded in memory on Android when you disconnect it’s performance remains roughly the same as the D5200 which is pretty good for this class live view shooting is still on the slow disappointing side but by all other measures including its 5.1 frame per second JPEG burst I think most people will be pretty happy with it if you shoot RAW it’s still insufficient for continuous shooting since it still only has six frame bursts buffer the anti-aliasing filter free sensor produces great photos and the extra sharpness it provides plus the excellent JPEG processing results in useable images as high as ISO 6400 in a body,
That’s really really good even shooting in 14 bit raw doesn’t seem to preserve a lot of highlight detail but the camera tends to underexpose as a rule and you can recover a lot of shadow detail without introducing a lot of noise I’m not crazy about the cameras default settings they include normal image quality rather than fine which is a higher compression level manual adjustments during movie shooting are turned off and what’s a real pain for me sequential file numbering defaults to off with the d5300 Nikon remains at the head of the class of sub 1000 dslr’s.

Canon EOS Rebel T5 CONS:

HONEST REVIEW:
The Canon EOS Rebel T5,
In this camera Canon repackages all the technology from the old Rebel T3i in the body and with the bare-bones features of the T3 so the camera seems new but really isn’t it does feel comfortable to grip and the control and menu layout is logical and easy to pick up there’s nothing particularly notable about the design all entry-level DSLRs are basically the same in this respect but there are a couple of significant drawbacks,
The viewfinder is small and dim the smallest in its class in fact with tiny hard to see focus points unfortunately the focus points have become a standard at this price and the LCD isn’t much more usable it’s highly reflective and I found it extremely hard to see in sunlight it’s also relatively low resolution so it’s hard to tell if your shots in focus when you’re zoomed in and shooting in Live View mode which is the mode that’s most similar to using a point-and-shoot is slow and clunky and that’s doubly frustrating given the somewhat inconsistent performance of the autofocus system especially in dim light thankfully regular shooting is pretty fast and it’s tested burst frame rate of 3.1 frames per second should be okay for active kids and pets but,
The autofocus system during burst shooting is kind of hit and miss and sadly its battery life is significantly shorter than its predecessor the T3s image quality solid but not quite as good as a same priced competitor like the Nikon d3200 the tonal range is a little narrower which means you lose detail in blacks and highlights at lower ISO settings an ‘m brighter light than the D 3200 and that affects video quality as well which is fine for short clips but not terrific still most people will be fine with the images colors are bright saturated and please and there’s a setting if you want more accurate results the feature set is better than the t3s but not nearly as good as the now similarly priced t3,
I like the t3i it has an 18 megapixel sensor and a nine-point autofocus system with a fixed 3-inch LCD that’s slightly larger than its predecessors overall it’s a fine camera but the old t3i which currently costs the same is significantly better and the nikon d 32 hundred is also a relatively better bargain first-time DSLR users will probably be happy with it you just won’t be getting the best camera available for your money
Sony RX100

Sony RX100 CONS:

HONEST REVIEW:
The Sony RX100 for focus camera Sony really went above and beyond in designing this thing with a one-inch sensor it’s much larger than your average pocket-sized point-and-shoot what that translates to is much better high ISO capabilities and better low-light capabilities good thing about this ring is that you can program it into just about any function you want which is great
The one thing that I’m not too in love with it is that it’s free rotating now if you’re gonna use it for zoom or focus that’s awesome but if I was gonna use it as an aperture ring or maybe for ISO settings or something like that it might be nice to get some tactile feedback so that I know that it’s actually functioning one of the problems I have with most consumer wide-angle lenses is they’re just not wide enough and the Sony RX100 has one of those not quite wide enough wide-angle lenses but for the price point I think this camera is really nice,
One of the great things about this camera is that you can take ten pictures in a second even for a camera that’s got a consumer-grade lens in it you can really push in far when you’re looking at the files on this thing the detail is incredible the resolution is great you think that the glass on this thing would not be able to match the resolution of the sensor and it certainly does it but it holds up really well the dynamic range and this one inch sensor and Sony RX100 looks really good you can certainly get a lot of detail with a 20 megapixel sensor
Digital zoom I don’t like and I don’t recommend anyone use as a digital zoom the LCD screen on the back of the Sony rx100 is nice and bright even in bright sunlight like this I happen to know that the LCD screen on the back of the rx100 has four points it has RGB and it also has a white point which enables it to be really bright in light situations like this or it enables you to save battery juice one of the things that Sony wanted to make sure that you couldn’t do was charge your battery outside of the camera that was a big mistake because as shipped you have to plug the battery into the camera and the camera into the wall so that you can charge the battery you’re limited to the length of the cable overall the Sony rx100 is a fun little camera to shoot with as long as you don’t mind paying a little extra money you get a much nicer sensor than your average point-and-shoot I think that that really pays off.

HONEST REVIEW:
The nikon D3400 is the company’s entry-level DSLR camera it’s a modest update to the G 3300 and uses the same 24 megapixel aps-c CMOS sensor which offers very good image quality in both JPEG and RAW mode,
The D3400 features full HD video capture but when paired with the updated kit lenses offered smoother quieter and more accurate focusing the camera has an ISO range of 102 25600 an 11-point phase detection autofocus system and can shoot continuously at five frames per second,

Canon EOS Rebel T6 CONS:

HONEST REVIEW:
Canon Rebel T6, So this is the updated version of the Canon Rebel t5.. it has the same sensor as the can Rebel t5 in a whole bunch of other similarities coming in at five hundred and fifty dollars you get the Canon t6 body and the 18 to 55 millimeter non STM lens the gainin t6 has a 18 megapixel aps-c size sensor now it’s the same sensor that is found in the Canon t5i and to go up the center it has canons digit 4 plus image processor which is going to help reduce noise in pictures it’s kit lens is the Canon 18 to 55 millimeter none STM lens and that’s a big turn-off for me now over the past few years I’ve taken some great pictures with deacon in 18 to 55 millimeter lens however,
I really do think it should have been packaged with the STM version of the 1855 millimeter lens the non STM 18 to 55 millimeter lens is relatively loud when focusing in the front element moves around when focusing and when zooming which is a little annoying and doesn’t feel very premium I was surprised at how good this camera handled high ISO such as 1600 3200 and 6400 so you can definitely take a usable images at ISO 6400 now this camera shoots 1080p at 30 frames per second,
Camera has Wi-Fi and NFC that’s going to allow you to connect this camera to your smartphone via canons camera connect app and that apps going to allow you to use your phone as an LCD screen for your camera so you have your camera on a tripod and you can have your phone 50 or more feet away and you can see what the canon t6 is looking at you can also pull images from your Canon t6 straight to your smartphone which will allow you to post really high-quality pictures straight to social media from your iPhone
If you have this camera on a tripod you might not be able to access your SD card while your camera has your tripod bracket mounted on it also it has no microphone input so you can’t put on a shotgun microphone and record video.

HONEST REVIEW:
The OLYMPUS TG5 is a dust print shockproof to 7 foot freeze proof to minus 10 degrees waterproofs at 15 meters caught on camera it gives you 12 megapixel stills in raw and JPEG with this new sensor coupled with a true pick a processor an f2 lens and a wide horse line locked resume the new honor so up to 12 thousand eight hundred means low-light and action shots are even easier to capture them before logging your avenches is easy to with is booting GPS compass temperature sensor manometer and Wi-Fi a double-glazed glass structure prevents fogging and condensation when changing some temperatures and environments in the wild with an unlocking ring you are able to attach many accessories ranging from fish oil converters to flash diffusers capable of shooting 4k video or 120 frames per second the slow-mo Full HD
The TG top-mounted control will and easy accessible dolls little knowledge on photography is really required to get shot clear images when using the TG 5 toga normally the designers state very similar to the previous version get subtle enhancements to Griffon body make for some great handling improvements bird shooting is ridiculously fast and I had little faith at the camera being able to confuse the quality of images that wanted yet the TG5 managed outperform itself over and over at 20 frames per second
The speed build ease of use and the resulting dynamic range of far greater than a compact waterproof I’ve previously seen anyone wanting to shoot epic memories from places cameras don’t usually like to go this is definitely a compact camera worth.

Canon Powershot SX60 CONS:

HONEST REVIEW:
Canon powershot SX60 HS digital camera this is the latest and most advanced scan on ultra zoom camera so far it has a massive 65 times optical zoom that is really huge range you can take shots pretty much of everything with this camera ranging from landscape or indoor shoot up to details so far away that you will feel like a paparazzi 660 is a big camera as you can see it looks pretty powerful amateurs might even say,
It looks professional nevertheless I think it’s 650 grams is not very much and it will not be a problem carrying all day for example on a trip on Ora journey I really like the grip on this camera it is very big covered with rubber and when you hold it the camera fits very nice in head most of the buttons is pretty big but this multi-way controller is somewhat small and it is very hard to press some of the buttons your test of the screen has fringe diagonal and 900 thousand dots it is very detailed with excellent viewing angles electronic viewfinder is average at best it is very small and it doesn’t have high resolution but still you have it a 662 this lithium battery which is strong enough for around 300 shots out of a single charge it is recharged in external charger this is our favorite solution since,
You can charge one battery and use the camera with the second battery at the same time on the right side you can see connectors this camera has mini USB HDMI and this is connector for wide remote but also it has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity you can very easily connect it to your smartphone or easy to view images or transfer them this camera has a built-in stereo microphone,
But there is also input for external microphone so if you want to record something more serious you can actually do it with this camera using this camera is very simple when you leave it in green automatic mode you only need to zoom press the shutter button
The best ones performance is very decent also can get as close as almost zero centimeters to the lens although then you have a problem of lighting your subject you can get pretty decent macro shots for those of you who understand how you can use for manual controls you can gain access to pretty much everything, light metering white balance image radio and so on,
One of the very good thing about this camera is you can record in raw image format but this is only for people who know how to post process images on PC you can also record videos maximum resolution is full HD at 60 frames per second this is very good since you can get very fluid and realistic videos especially if you’re shooting about life animals children or anything that moves really fast image quality is pretty solid still this is not me or less or DSLR sx60 has very small sensor so there are some limits regarding image quality but generally we are very happy with all daylight photos which are very good lead and have realistic colors at night a 660 is not very comfortable you can get pretty okay shots but you can see this camera is not made for low-light shooting primarily.
This camera is made for travel action shots and the zooming very distant details one thing I have to point out separately and this is image stabilization in the lens it is extremely good you can get completely steady videos at maximum optical zoom and that is fascinating since this camera has an equivalent of 1300 millimeter focal range.

SONY A5100 CONS:

HONEST REVIEW:
The most is that the sensor size itself is that of a DSLR camera so it’s an aps-c sensor size and has an email system which has been around for a couple years now so the system is actually can wait it has quite a few options I suppose and you can also get adapters to say you know your canons and your Nikon lenses it’s got quite a few options for this camera the only downside that of course everyone knows what this camera is it’s good internal mic option we do a little bit of a demonstration here but essentially the mic on itself is its biggest drawback …
Second I just doing some color there during the autofocus so just a little bit of a walk here stabilization it’s not too bad I’m just kind of running sub my house as you can steal my there but just a bit of an internal microphone test one of the things people say with this camera too is it doesn’t have a very good heat distribution so the lens if you flip up the viewfinder sorry the screen you’re going to have some heating issues under here if you shoot in high frame rate or actually regular frame rate as well for more than 30 minutes at a time so that for some people in the studio environment but that being said the camera itself could actually end up being warm over a long period of time but for a blogger like myself that that’s all ready to do is vlogs
It’s going to be enough for me for sure maybe some time lapse is about 5 to 10 minutes long but for me that’s not going to be an issue one of my favorite things about this is it has a micro USB which allows you to your data transfer if you just want to plug it in and not pop the Cardo which is a separate door from the battery door so with that USB charger you can just flip it down exclusively and you can actually use that to plug it in and charge it with a battery bank while
You know back backing around throughout your shot so it’s always full of juice another one too is that you also have a micro HDMI so that essentially allows you to plug in the HDMI use this camera as just a basically a lens and then you can record to an external option so that’s all PC nice as well so if you had it set up like this it’s not going to get hot because it’s not physically recording to the drive or using a processor to make that happen huge
Other thing I really love about this camera is it does flip up so when you turn it on you basically get to see the camera it does flip up so you can see what’s going on be able to frame yourself a lot of cameras essentially they flip around or they don’t flip at all they’ll make up about this much which is good if you’re going to do low shots but essentially that is something that I’ve always really wanted unic camera because it does make a lot of sense when you’re recording you don’t want to always be staring right at the lens which is you know your audience essentially you want to make sure that you’re recording and you’re also well framed alright guys that pretty much sums up my a51 from Sony very very impressive how small it is it is very light nice grips that the stabilization of it is very good as well and it’s something that didn’t cost an arm and a leg I’ve got a pretty good deal on but it does do 1080 60 frames
Canon PowerShot SX720

Canon PowerShot SX720 CONS:
|
HONEST REVIEW:
I would like to start and mention that this camera is not new it has actually been out for nearly a year now and Canon has since released newer point-and-shoots but this camera has come down in price quite a bit making it even more affordable for people to buy now inside of the box we have a variety of items we have a lanyard we have a 1250 milliamp hour battery we have the battery wall charger we have a variety of pieces of literature and finally we have the actual s X 720 HS itself this of course is the red color but it’s also available in black on the front we have the impressive 40 time optical zoom lens
A twenty point three megapixel CMOS sensor we also have a nice grip on the front two on the top we have the microphone speaker power button zoom toggle shutter button and the video recording button there is also a pop-up flash which is triggered by the switch on the side on the other side we have a flap that conceals the microUSB port and the HDMI port on the back we have the three inch display which is not a touchscreen and does not flip up unlike the SX 730 HS
we also have a toggle wheel that makes it easy to go through the various camera modes there are also some other buttons which include the play media button a Wi-Fi connect button a multi-function wheel with options to delete media activate the timer and adjust the flash settings there’s also an info button and a menu button on the bottom there is a universal tripod mount and a door that hides the battery slot and the SD card slot the actual camera software itself is easy to use and is consistent with the software that is found in nearly all other cameras that Canon has under its powershot line
The camera is really easy to use even for beginners now overall I’m super impressed with the quality for both the photos and videos of this camera can take the long 40 time optical zoom makes it possible to get really close to wildlife and to get all of those perfect shots that you can later impress your friends with I am amazed with the quality of the images that the camera can take and there’s really no comparison between this and a smartphone camera the SX 720 is much better
Now as I mentioned before one of the biggest differences between this camera and the newer SX 730 HS is that this does not have the flip up display which is extremely useful for vloggers so for that reason if you are looking for a great vlogging camera then I would not get this and instead would either get the newer SX 730 HS or a g7 X which is also a Canon product so is this camera worth it even though it’s not necessarily new to the market well the answer to that question is yes you can pick this up for about 50 to 100 dollars cheaper than the SX 730 HS and if you do not need a flip up screen then there really aren’t too many other compromises.

CANON PS SX530 HS CONS:
|
HONEST REVIEW:
Canon powershot SX530 HS digital camera this is an ultra zoom camera which means it has 50 times optical zoom with its options and capabilities it is better than entry-level SX530 410 but still a step below the top model SX530 so basically this camera will be probably the most interesting to most buyers …The main feature of course is a big 50 times optical zoom in 45 millimeter terms it covers from 24 to 12 hundred millimetres for example 24 millimeter are wide enough for shooting landscapes or in interior shots of people and at maximum optical zoom 1200 millimeters
This is a good enough for example taking a shot of a pigeon from 25 meter distance impressive this camera of course has built-in optical stabilization it would be very hard to use it without it build quality is rather good the camera feels very solid but the plastic use looks somewhat cheap grip size and shape are almost perfect from the first time I took it in my hand I liked the way it feels it is also covered with rubber and it is not slippery the dials at the top are hard to rotate so you do not have to fear you will accidentally rotate it and change a setting all the buttons of the back are pretty big but they have very short travel and do not feel of high quality LCD screen has three inches diagonal and 460 thousand dots even quality is fine but viewing angles are not that good LCD is also too dark in daylight
And if the Sun shines directly behind your back it will be almost unusable it is not articulated and does not have touch control batteries is charged using external charger there is no option to charge it inside camera like we are used to on smartphones it is strong enough for run 200 shots out of a single charge what is just average I wish it would last at least 300 memory card shares the same compartment with the battery it is a standard SDHC memory cards connectors are on the right side mini USB and mini HDMI for connecting the camera to LCD TV having Wi-Fi and NFC is obligatory today and s6 530 HD image quality is rather good
I used it mostly in full automatic mode and with good lighting conditions the camera again quite good images color saturation is some around the natural side and when you zoom into images you can see fine details are still preserved during nighttime images are somewhat worse I know it becomes apparent but still you can get decent shots for amateur use this camera also records Full HD video with 30 frames per second and Terra sunt with built-in microphone video quality is also quite good and I was quite satisfied with image stabilization sadly on maximum optical zoom that is equivalent of 1200 millimeters it is still a bit shaky but now I’m asking too much altogether canon has made another quite attractive ultrazoom camera which will very easily find these buyers image and video quality are quite good the camera is full packed with features and for user who seeks good camera that can shoot pretty much everything from trip from trips travel or family use this could be quite a good option.
